Just felt I needed to share this, I am not mad at this person, I just wanted to bring this to peoples attention, as I have seen this happen to almost every artist. An artist doesn’t work for free, yet people seem to expect that, if you buy a sweater from a handmade artist, 30$ would hardly even cover costs. some other knitters/customers have been surprised by how cheap I sell them. if you want unique art and clothing, you can’t expect walmart prices, and to do so is highly disrespectful to the people who put there heart and soul into their work! these people spent years honing their craft, they didn’t just pick up a pencil and say “I want to make money”. I have even seen people do this from anything like a painting, digital commissions, to clothing, to tattoos and masks! We work hard, and most of us even sell ourselves short, so please don’t ever tell an artist their work isn’t worth the price, just don’t buy it, and go get that lower quality dime a dozen item instead.

Out of frustration I put down the knitting and picked up the tablet pen. WIP I dont even know what she is, rough concept, taking a break to stretch my hammies and such.
